I have a Vivitek DLP projector that has only 1 HDMI port. I also have a Denon AVR that I am using for audio. I have a cable box, Roku, and dvd player that I would like to use with the projector. However, due to only one HDMI input, I am confused how to get the audio and the video working. Right now I have HDMI cables going from each box into the AVR and an HDMI output going into the projector HDMI port and am using a yellow AV cord from the back of each box and using that to input video data into the projector. However, I have to switch it each time I want to change what I am watching off of and the video quality is very poor. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Solution
You should not need the yellow video cables at all. Composite video is limited in quality.
HDMI carries video and audio.
Select the HDMI input on the projector and let the receiver do the switching between your sources.
