Projector Output to monitor

i have one pc, and i connect projector to this pc. and i have next tv also.
now i want to display same thing which is displayed in projector.
in my benq projector there is a port monitor output.
can i connect from this output port to my TV. i connect but doesnot work,
if is it possible , please help me..

The model number of your projector would help.
I would say that the port on the projector is not likely to be an video and audio out. You need a distribution amplifier to split the output of the PC or use a video card or motherboard with 2 outputs.
