PS2 rca cables

wondering if i could take my ps2's rca cables apart and be able to strip the wires and put them into a speaker which i would then plug into my record play which has rca outs on it

I suspect the output from an RCA socket is likely to be line-level rather than amplified. But there's nothing to stop you trying -- it shouldn't do any damage so long as you don't short circuit anything.
