PS3 Audio through PC Speakers

Hey guys. I am currently trying to setup my PS3 system to run through my monitor (display) and speakers (audio)


After much hassle finding the appropriate adapters I finally have the PS3 connected to my monitor (HDMI - HDMI) and to my speakers (RCA Male - RCA Female - 3.55mm Jack)

The issue is, I am only getting audio from the left-hand speaker and sub-woofer. Speakers work fine on PC.

I have:
- Tried two RCA cables
- Tried two different speakers

Any ideas?

Don't worry everyone.
Ordered a second adapter and it turns out the original was faulty, all working fine now \^^/
