You are meant to remove batery from inside to fix it, to reset your clock inside ps3. Mine is fine, but I wouldnt advise to do it.

Uh no. You are meant to leave it alone and let it fix itself for this problem.

Hehe, Sony's solution is like my IT strategy...

"Did you reboot your system?"
"Come back tomorrow, if there's still a problem I'll look into it."

No one ever comes back :D

Known software issue; funny how Y2k's decendents still are floating around...

Next up: the 2038 bug [which will probably bring down 90% of all systems, simply due to legacy issues with such an old bug...]

Daylight Savings issues: understood, countries keep moving the date around after all.

Leap-Year issues: WTF? "if (Year % 400 == 0 || (Year % 4 == 0 && Year % 100 != 0)){ Is_LeapYear = 1; }" There, Sony, copy it and use it. My consulting fee is $1 billion dollars.

For the record the Zune leap year problem was Toshiba's fault. (I've got one of the ones that had it happen)

Also, don't forget the yellow light of death - the PS3 is not without it's own issues.

And yeah, I've had 2 RRoD's.
