I decided to buy a monitor for my PS4, but a friend told me monitors have horrible speakers and that I should invest in a good pair for gaming. My budget for speakers are $100. Could someone help me find a good pair of speakers for gaming and how to connect them to one of these 2 monitors for ps4 gaming?

Solution
the easiest way would be if the monitor has a headphone jack. you can then just plug in pc speakers and work with that.

the alternative and not so friendly way is having an audio extractor on the hdmi cable to pull off analog sound you can plug a pair of computer speakers into.

of course you dont need to use pc speakers.. that is just an easy option. you could just as easily use any powered speakers... or unpowered speakers and an amp connected in a similar manner for the same effect.
