Question PS4 controller displays but not pairing with Hisense Android TV

PS4 controller shows up on add accesories section over Bluetooth and when selected does not pair with the Hisense TV.
How can PS4 controller be paired with Hisense TV?

I got my PS4 connected to the TV upstairs but need to play basic games on another TV downstairs which needs a controller. Saw some videos on Youtube that a PS4 controller can be connected to an android TV, but in my case it is not pairing.
