Hi guys,

I am interested in purchasing a new laptop, I want it for my work and must be quite small and light to carry. Also fairly cheap as on a budget £300 max.

It's mainly for office work, for example being able to juggle excel, word and PowerPoint as well as surfing the web and other general use. No gaming or heavy applications are needed like CAD etc. We have seen a few for example the HP stream 13. I am not keen on a cloud based device and would want it to be on the windows OS, always open to use an external hard drive if laptops suggested have small internal memory.

cheers for any help and suggestions, ps I am in the UK

Cheers for the reply. No not really, looked at a few sites, the hp stream 13 was the size we were looking at or smaller

Are you willing to go for a Refurbished one. If not then you will have to settle for a worse one and also it will be hard to find a 14 inch and you might have to go for a standard 15.6.
