Question about bluetooth can anyone help?

Just want to ask I'm working on a project about making my bluetooth dongle work on series 40 cellphones like nokia, Does anyone think is it possible? my objective here is improving bluetooth range do anyone think it is possible?

The only way to improve bluetooth range is with a more powerful amp on the signal, or a directional antenna like with WiFi which are all useless for what bluetooth is used for. More power = lower battery, directional you need to keep the devices in line all the time.
