Hey guys,
So I need a good laptop for video editing and needs to be powerful.
The max I can spend is around $650. I was wondering if an i5 processor is good for video editing? What about pentium or i3?. And also, what does the clock speed do? And what about video card?
And any suggestions for laptops to buy?
Thanks guys

Also will this be good for editing? http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msca/en_CA/pdp/Acer-Aspire-V5-473P-6459-Touchscreen-Laptop/productID.295789400?tduid=313791bb1a6f829fcdfd3864fd1a9aa4#ratingsandreviews

What about this? ASUS® (U47ARF RGR4) Laptop, 14", 2.5GHz, Intel Core i5-3210M, 1TB HDD, 8GB RAM, English, Refurbished

I'd say for editing, your really going to want a 4th gen i7.. Hyper threading on it is going to come in handy, and while 16 gig's of ram would be good, 8 gigs will be fine. I'd honestly say save or spend an extra couple hundred and buy a y510p.
