For about two months ago, my computer started to get random lag spikes. I mostly play Paladins (which i highly recommend), and i get an avg. of 60-100 fps, but sometimes my frames randomly drops to about 6 frames for about 5-20 seconds, and the sound gets choppy. Before, i could plug my computer into an external display, and the lag would be gone. Note: the external display has a higher resolution than the laptop display. Two days ago my laptop started getting frame drops WITH the external display, and i am now heavily annoyed.

My Laptop (it is pretty old, almost 6 years):
ASUS K53SM
Intel Core i5 2450M, (base clock) 2.5Ghz, 2 Cores, Intel HD Graphics 3000
NVIDIA GeFore GT630M, 2GB GDDR3 (latest driver)
8 GB RAM
Samsung 850 EVO SSD

I have been realising that my cpu temps can sometimes get up to 100 degrees celsius under heavy load for a long time, and the gpu at about 80-90. My GPU is not using any dedicated vram. I have not cleaned my laptop greatly. (I think) my cpu and gpu is throttling (but not that much). It often happens when the games starts, and under intense fights.

Thanks in advance
