random shut downs

Hey y'all,
Pretty new here, but I've got a problem: at random moments, my laptop works fine but suddenly it just shuts down. It's a Dell inspiron 3520. Any words of advice?

Is it the battery often low?

Have you tried just leaving the power cable in to power it?

Do you ever get any error when it shuts down or is it just off instantly?

I normally don't use a battery, but when I do its full
Yes I have tried leaving the power cable, still shuts down
and no I don't receive any sort of error before it shuts down, its just a random sudden shut down.

It could be a temperature problem. When you are next on your laptop, install this:

http/www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/hwmonitor_1.28.exe

Then launch the software and reply with a photo of what the temperatures are.

Oh yes. I would say that it's overheating and shutting itself down as a protection method.

I bought one of these for my laptop when I had one, did the job well.

I didn't get that exact one. I bought a microsoft one with just one fan, but this has four so looks pretty good
