Hi guys. I'm looking for a new laptop. I travel a lot, so I'm looking for a laptop that can handle gaming, and the graphics work I do. I've narrowed it down to the Razer blade and the blade pro (2014).

I'm leaning towards the pro, but I'm just as open to the blade.

Thanks!

Please, for the love of god, any other laptop maker except razer. Theres a lot out there to choose from such as MSI or ASUS or Lenovo with the same specs if not better for HALF the price. You could by TWO laptops if you wanted to! Or with the same amount of money buy something thats like twice as fast as this.

The Razer Blade Pro has a simple i7-4700MQ, 16 GB RAM, 128 SSD (in the base config) and a GTX 860M. And then they charge you god knows how much for that strange touchpad/LED screen.

Out of all of these, I recommend the MSI the most, has dual drives, so an SSD for windows and boot up, and a large HDD for storing games/movies/grpahical work. It has an identical i7, and an identical GPU. It's also thin as well since you said you travel a lot.

On the flipside, for the same amount of money you can buy this

It has the absolute best mobile GPU on the market, it has a slightly faster i7, it still has the dual drive option as well.
Sure the downsides are its like 2 inches thick (actually only 1.89") and its as heavy as a boat anchor (8.4 lbs) but who doesn't love boats?!
