Solved! RCA 11 Galileo Pro

Hi all! I have an RCA 11 Galileo Pro
Tablet that's been sitting in my closet, unused, for about 2 years. Got it out today, and of course, I CANNOT REMEMBER MY PASSWORD! I can't be the only person this has ever happened to...LOL. I keep entering 4 digit numeric codes (guessing!) and it just keeps going back to the main screen, with the date, showing the little lock locked on the bottom. I don't have any use for it and would like to give it away. Will this eventually allow me to reset my password? For example...will it just "lock up" and allow me to reset via the email I signed up with when I bought it? I don't have a smartphone, and, as my name says, I am NOT "technically savy", so I have NO idea what to do! Any help will be greatly appreciated!

OK...I apologize for the post...I thought perhaps it was a simple fix! I can understand your position on this matter. Thanks for the information; I will try to contact RCA. All the best...
