Hello, most times the best way to connect it is using RCA wires.
Just connect it to the computer using a 3.5mm to RCA adapter cable:
One side (the small headphone 3.5mm plug) connects in the Green speaker output of your PC. The other side (RCA) connects to the home theater. Where it is written AUX or Audio Input. Press function on the home theater system or remote and select the correct input.
You will then have sound from your PC.
If your PC or RCA home theater has digital in/out, then use an optical/coxial cable for best results.
