Rear and center speakers work during sound test but not otherwise

I have 5.1 Samsung HT-H5550WK home THeater When looking at the playback devices and doing the test everything works:Front, Center, Rear, and Bass. When I play something else with sound (music movie etc.) only the Front speakers and the Sub work. the wiereless device SWA 6000 . Any suggestions on the problem/possible solutions?

If your source is not in surround sound you will have to select a surround mode such as Dolby Prologic II. Try the different modes on the HTiB. This would also be true the connection to your source is 2 channel analog rather than digital.

There is a black button on the bottom portion of the remote just beneath the "B" button marked DSP/EQ. Press this button to choose mode which best fits you taste of sound. All speakers including center channel will sound.
