Rebooting damage harddisk

Technically, I don't know how to start as my Dell inspiron mini kept on bringing me back to F1 to restart my notebook and it ends there. I do have a Lenovo m58p, all kind of cables, driver downloads but can't start cause I don't know what to do first. Please help

Start at the beginning here, what exactly happens when you turn on the laptop, any error messages? This started when, did anything happen to the system before the issue? People like to leave out details like "it got rained on" or "a car drove over the computer", need full details of what is happening.

Can you get into the BIOS? Does it show a hard drive there? Can you select it in the boot order? Does Windows try to load?
