Recently got a virus and "removed" it but still seeing some weird things

I did something stupid and got a virus on my computer. Windows defender detected it and removed it and after 3 more scans it stopped finding more viruses. After that I ran malwarebytes and also malwarebytes anti rootkit but like things are not the same for instance windows file explorer would not respond and then respond like a 100 times in a second and is spazzing out. Also google chrome would load some pages glitched a lot more now.(like just blue text but after a refresh its fine.)

Should I do a clean install or have I not found the entire virus yet? Or has it done damage that cant be repaired unless its reinstalled.

I have 2 harddrives if I need to format do I need to format both or just the windows one to be safe

check the integrity of your operating system.

if this fails and doesnt fix issues, clean install or follow steps to replace corrupt/missing files.
