I have been shooting for sometime with my Nikon D3200 with the kit provided Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 VR lens.
I am currently looking to purchase a new all-in-one lens to go with my camera.
I do not have yet identified a specific type of photography that I am particularly fascinated by,
hence I am looking for a good all-in-one lens that I can carry along in my vacation trips to capture the entire spectrum from zooming on landscapes to portraits to close ups of flowers.
I have been doing some basic research and have identified the following two models:

1. Sigma 18-250mm f3.5-6.3 DC MACRO OS HSM for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras -- https://www.amazon.in/Sigma-18-250mm-3-5-6-3-Macro-Camera/dp/B008B4893M/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1541671251&sr=8-1&keywords=sigma+18-250

2. Tamron B018N B018 18-200 F/3.5-6.3 DI II VC Nikon Mount Lens for Nikon DX DSLR Cameras -- https://www.amazon.in/Tamron-B018N-18-200-3-5-6-3-Cameras/dp/B013HXY21E/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1541671200&sr=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=tamron+18-250

But I am not very sure on which should be a better buy considering my usage patterns. I also want to make sure that should I upgarde to a better Nikon camera, I should be able to reuse the lens.
I am not shy on spending the few extra bucks but I would like to understand the immediate and long term benefits.
Can somebody provide some guidance around this area and help me make a choice.

TO be brutally honest with you, you should first figure out the direction of photography that you'd like to take. I personally have a 60mm lens which is perfect for macros and portraits and gives off an amazing field of depth. I'd advise against zoom lenses since they will introduce jitters into your photography.

I completely understand your point. But I would probably hang on to the overall experience for a little while longer and try to indulge myself with an all-in-one lens and see if something in particular excites me. Would it be easier to answer if I rephrase the question as "Which among the two is a better all-in-one lens?".
