Solution A A americanaudiophile Oct 2, 2015 If you are looking to record on the VCR you would need digital converter box http/www.amazon.com/RCA-DTA-800B1-Digital-Pass-through-Converter/dp/B001DT5LII/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1443802836&sr=8-4&keywords=tv+digital+converter+box for the VCR. You won't get an HD recording and will not be able to change channels on the box with the VCR so you would have to preset that channel and use the timer in the VCR. A better solution might be to use an over the air PVR that records to a hard drive. http/www.amazon.com/converter-recording-channels-Scheduled-Recording/dp/B0155NORLY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1443802896&sr=8-3&keywords=tv+digital+converter+box http/www.epvision.com/HDTVSTB/phdvrx2main.htm
