Hi, I built a custom gaming PC a few weeks back and every time I start to record with Dxtory my fps drops to around 2 fps on every game.

I have tried reinstalling my drivers and wiping my entire computer and reinstalling Dxtory etc, but nothing will work.

My PC specs:
AMD FX 6300 @3.76GHz
8GB RAM @1600MHz
MSI 970A-G43 MOBO
MSI R9 280 3GB Gaming
120GB SSD
160GB HDD
80GB HDD

And my temps on my CPU never go above 70 and my GPU never goes above 60

Never used DXtory, but I have Fraps (paid) and MSI AfterBurner (free). You will see some frame rate drops, especially if you use the frame lock feature to keep game and video at 30fps for quality. But I've not seen it drop to 2.

What are you recording to? SSD? Is TRIM enabled? Is Indexing off for this drive? Is page file off for this drive? Are you using the record drive for anything other than recording? What's your CPU load when recording? GPU load when recording?

Bandicam is another good recording program, frames only drop by a few. Like 80 fps with Bandicam off and 77 with it on. Very fast and efficient. I havent found a game where it doesn't work.
