recordings of speach to text in Win 10

I have some older recordings made using one of the small tape recorders and need something that would take them to text.

Also, if making recordings using iphone to text.

There are commercial applications (this one comes to mind) for that task, but just a software won't be enough. Your first task is to transfer these recordings into a computer file, with best quality available. This usually means connecting that recorder to a computer' audio input, and using an app to record the audio into eg WAV or MP3 file.
