Solved! Recovering data off the phone.

If I run a recovery program to recover data off an Iphone, should I try several times, or use different programs to see if it pulls different/more data off? Recovering old messages, but don't have the ones I wanted.

Have you ever backed up your iPhone via iCloud? If you have done it, you can easily restore texts from iCloud backup. Or you can choose to recover messages with third-party apps if iCloud backup doesn't help. Most iPhone data recovery tools enables users to preview text messages for free, thus you can copy important messages by yourself.
