Question recovering photos from a broken iphone

hello, i have an iphone 6 which was dropped in water and has ceased to work properly. my laptop does still recognize when the phone is connected, however, the screen does not work at all. i am trying to recover my photos from my phone, but every method i have found needs me to use the screen to tap that i trust this computer. i do not have my photos backed up on icloud or anything. are there any other solutions to get my photos? help much appreciated

Hello corvid, I’m glad you asked.

This problem cannot be easily fixed alone, so you will need to take your phone to an apple store where they (should) know what to do. Ask them to fix your phone/backup your photos to your iCloud Drive, laptop, or both. Thank you and I hope this helps.
