Red and white to RCA for a sub, how?

Hello, I have two subs that are not powered and only have regular speaker wire coming out the back but I'm considering buying a receiver. Is there anyway to properly hook up my subs if they dont have RCA hook ups on them?

You have to have an amp to power the subs. A receiver can power the subs but really I don't like most receivers.

A lot more info is needed. What brand and model are your subs?

The speaker wires left and right go to the sub.
The speakers, left and right hook to the sub.
This is a passive subwoofer (non amplified sub)
RCA plugs are used to hook to an active sub woofer. This is a sub with a built in amplifier...you do not have that.
