Hello, I'm trying to change ownership of WaaSMedic in local machine, system, WaaS folder. I used to have the medic disabled but recently I decided to install some updates for a completely different reason, and then disabled the updates. But, the recent updates once again changed ownership of the registry keys! Now it's not letting me disable the service, so I'm trying to take back ownership.

Right now owner is SYSTEM and I have only read access. I tried changing the owner but it literally just says "Unable to set new owner, access is denied". What the heck microsoft? How do I bypass this and regain full access?

Thank you!
