Hi @Emma Hill ,

I recommend you using the RDP since it's a quite easy and quick solution(this is a pre-installed tool Windows pc, so)... The only thing you will need to do is typing some code in your Linux device to install a tool.

I'll write here the code and the steps you'll need to do :)
On your Linux System you will need to open the terminal (Ctrl+ Alt+ T) and type $ sudo apt install xrdp, click "Y" and continue to install.
Followed by $ sudo systemctl enable xrdp

The first string will install the XRDP tool, while the second one will allow the auto-enable on startup. Meaning the xrdp tool will automatically start when the Linux boots. Once done, go back to your Windows pc and search (search bar) for “RDP.” Click on the “Remote Desktop App.”
Type the IP address of your Linux system adjacent to the “Computer ” label and then "Connect".
When is connected you only need to enter the Linux's password and username.

Hope it helps,
Cheers

Carl
