Replace 90w Compaq Adapter with 65w

Hi there,

I've got a situation here. hope you can help resolvin it.

can I i replace my 90w Compaq Adapter with 65w for no problem?

the 65w adapter have lower current and voltage (3,5A 18V) than the 90w (4,7A 19V).

my notebook is Compaq CQ40-313AX with AMD QL-62 and mobility Radeon 3450 GPU.

Probably not. The Laptop battery expects a certain voltage to charge itself.

No but you can charge the laptop with it when its turned off without damaging it.
