Replace videocard in Samsung Q210

Hello,

I want to replace the Nvidia Geforce 9200M GS videocard in my Samsung Q210 laptop. I found a guide that shows how to crack the laptop until the mainboard, but it doesn't tell how to proceed after that. I don't want to invest time in something that isn't even possible, so does anybody know if and how the replacement can be done?

Never mind. I found a way to completely disassemble the mainboard, but there is no way of disconnecting / replacing the videocard. It's been embedded in the mainboard.

Next question is now; where do I get a new mainboard... Seems impossible. And this is probably not the right place to look, but I just wanted to let you know about my experiences. This thread can be closed.

Hello Vrollie;

The chassis and motherboard are a package deal. Tightly integrated to fit together.
You can get a replacement motherboard of the same model. But not a higher spec board.
