I have been using a mid-2012 15" Macbook Pro 2.30 GHz Intel Core i7-3615QM, 8GB memory, 256GB SSD primarily as a Windows 10 laptop and have been very satisfied with its quality, light weight and durability. I use it mostly for Acrobat Pro, Visio, MS-Office, video conferencing and other browser based apps. It still runs well but I think it may be time to replace it.
I'm considering LG Gram 17 in. Laptop which is currently on sale for $1,100. Would this be a solid replacement for my current laptop and can it be expected to last 5 years?
