Replacing My Processor

Hello...i have an acer aspire E1-571 with a core I3 - 2310M @ 2.1 Ghz....can i upgrade replace it with a core I3 @ 3.1 Ghz ???

I would say if this YouTube Video is to be believed and the new Core I3 @ 3.1GHz has the same socket, processor family, and TDP as your current processor, then yes. You should be able to upgrade.
