Is there a way to turn off or change the sensitivity of the "No signal" blue
screen?
I have a number of shows that stop early and begin recording again due to
this.

It wouldn't have anything to do with the SCREEN, but with the signal
itself. It's getting too weak for the Replay.

Are you using the built-in tuner? Sometimes these problems are because
of it. Try connecting directly to tha A/V inputs. Also, if you have to
use the RF input, try an amplifier.
