Holding down 0. Did not work. I did not receive recovery disk when purchased. I have backed up all my files. I can't do any thing in normal Windows mode. I can only operate in safe mode. I tried tapping f8 and f12. It doesn't let me reset without a cd.

Thanks

Do you have an 8gb flash drive? if not it is worth the $10. You can download the windows install iso file from microsoft. Then download unetbootin. Select the disk from unetbootin and install it. Alternatively, there are apps for phones that can make the phone a boot drive using a usb cable.

Try using F8 to access the Windows recovery options (use the "Repair your computer" option). Follow the prompts and log into your local Windows user account, then under "Choose a recovery tool," select the "Toshiba recovery wizard."

If that doesn't work either, you're stuck with either purchasing recovery media from Toshiba (if available), or finding a copy of Windows to do a full install with.

Good luck!
