how can i reset my acer labtop with windows 7 to the factory setting

Power it off, hold down zero, and then turn it on. You should get a menu full of options, one of which should lead you to a repair area, where you can then select restore to factory settings or something like that.

Hi Mr. buwish just want to follow up if this will apply w/ extensa 4230w/ windows vista OS, i tried it but its not working.. please advice...
