I broke the display on my Samsung Galaxy Edge S6. I sold the phone for parts and kept the sim card. I bought a new LG V35 and wondered how I can see if my contacts were stored on my old sim or not and transfer them to my new phone.

Thanks for any advice!

Contacts aren't automatically stored on a SIM. You have to do it intentionally, so if you did do that, then they should be on the card. If you didn't, then they wouldn't be.

Either way, as long as the new phone takes a SIM of the same type, you can insert that one to check it for data, and then put your new one back in the new phone after checking it.
