Restoring Thunderbird Profiles?

So Thunderbird profiles for Windows 10 are under :\users\(User Name)\App Data\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\

I have backed up the profiles directory many times and performed restores after re-building a pc. Normally everything works fine, it loads all the profiles or email accounts no issue.

This time around, Thunderbird is not doing that, it is not picking up the profiles and I am at a loss. none of the profile directory names have changed, etc.

Thunderbird just is not picking them up and I don't know what is wrong.
 
Solution
Make sure you copy ALL the CONTENTS of the profile you backed up and paste them into the profile FOLDER for the client computer. You can't copy and paste the actual profile folder itself.

I usually just backup the whole Thunderbird folder, not just the profiles folder, has worked perfectly for years.

You also need to backup the Thunderbird folder in the Local folder too not just from the Roaming folder.
