Solved! rig 400 microphone issues.

i got a rig 400. using stereo mic, i got it to play music. and the microphone is recognized by the computer. but it will not let me talk. or when i record it just records the computer audio and not my voice. how can i set it up so i can talk in game? excuse my bad grammar and sentence structure.

is the red marking at the mic visible? switch it to the unmute position

Is the MIC plug connected tightly into the headset?

Use the y adapter to split the audio and the mic signal. Then connect the two plugs with your computer

I tried to the switch in both positions. no luck.
its nice and snug fit.
yup i tried the side jacks. then the jacks in the back again no luck.

so i got my mic working but no audio now.

Do you use the splitter?
Did you connect the audio jack to the green/lime audio port and the mic jack to the red port of your PC?
