Rma 6950 modded bios?

i have a 6950 and i did the unlock and its great but my friends 6950 wasent stable from the beginning yet he decided to do the unlock anyways (hoping it would fix the stablity issues? idk hes dumb) he just wants to know if he flashes back to the 6950 bios will newegg be able to tell that he unlocked it? because if they did they would blame him for ruining it and reject the rma even know it was bad before he unlocked it dont ask me why he unlocked it istead of just returning it right away i'v already called him a idiot for it

I do not believe they can tell, the bios is returned to the same state it was in when it was purchased.

I wouldn't advise him to do the same thing again. If it's not stable as a 6950, going to a 6970 will not help. No need to take a chance.
