If your parents also use OTA, then you would go back to Firetv because its implementation of antenna viewing is much better than ROKU. Remember flashback on VCR's? The little button that allowed you to go back to a previous channel by pressing that button. Not found on ROKU. The next best thing - bringing up recent channels - is found on Firetv. I was shocked of this omission on one the most popular streaming apps but in their defense, they are only now - this year - pointing out all of the virtues of watching OTA content. For OTA content + streaming, Fire Tv is best.
