Need help with a PPC Acer N30 -

A rouge icon has appeared in 'games'

I have Chess installed along with the std. Solitaire and Jawbreaker. I
have not installed any other games however this icon seems to have
appeared from nowhere.

It is called 'icon' and it is the same appearance as the std. games
icon.

Selecting it brings up an error message about a missing dll.

Can't see a way of deleting as I can't seem to see/find it in explorer

Any body got any ideas about how I can get rid without needing to do a
hard re-set???

Many thanks in advance.

This icon bugs me a lot too so here is what I do:

Go to File Explorer, press and hold on a blank area and un-check "show all
files"
Soft re-set the unit
The games icon should disappear. I like File Explorer to show all files so
I go back there and re-check the "show all files" box after the soft re-set.
The offending games icon will not re-appear until you soft re-set again with
the "show all files" box checked. (At least it doesn't for me.) Then you
have to repeat the process.

Probably you turned on an option to display hidden system files - this icon
has such attribute. This file is always there... but is not visible in
standard system settings (not to display hidden files).

Open your file explorer, go to some folder, tap-n-hold stylus below last
files (at the white space) and from the pull down menu select not to display
"all files".
