S3 vs S4 mini? Which one should i buy?

I am buying a new phone for Christmas and i'm between those two. The price is the same. I have read that you can't store apps on the sd card, is that true. If so the 16gb memory on the s3 will come quite handy.

If dual sim is not your preference then S3 all the way..
