I have just purchased a Samsung 4K 65" TV (model: UN65JU7500FXZA) and I have connected a Sony blueray player to it (model: BDPS3500).
Yesterday, when I selected the BlueRay player as the source for the TV it would only display the BlueRay screen for a fraction of a second before going completely blank. I saw this flash on the screen when I turned the BlueRay "on" or "off".... I know the BlueRay player works, I was using it on another TV.
I can not even get the flash of the Sony BlueRay player screen on the TV currently. it simply displays a message of "no signal", check connections and check settings on your source device".
I have tried using the 4k HDMI cable and a regular HDMI cable which didn't help. I have tried several different HDMI ports on the TV. The TV source gives me a "snow" picture. The BlueRay player gives me a completely black/blank picture.
I have successfully set up the wi-fy on the TV and can watch Netflix and YouTube on the TV so I know the TV screen is good.
I also have a Samsung sound bar which is also plugged into the TV and it works great.
I'm at a loss... anyone have any ideas what the problem is?
Thanks for your help.
