Samsung conection

Hi,
I just received a Samsung Player Star 2 mobile phone and the Kies software for PC connection. But it launches very very slowly and finaly doesn't detect the phone. My PC is a Packard bell NEC under XP 32bits.

Do you know if the software is compatible with XP, i.e. it should say something about compatibility on the package?
