Samsung Curved TV, Bad screen

Has anyone actually got one of these screens fixed before and know the cost if so? I can't find one person anywhere that says yes. I can't return mine, I bought it at a yard sale from a couple that were moving. I had him turn it on and it came on and looked fine. But of course, as soon as I got home, turned it on and let it warm up and it wasn't outside, a giant black mark covers 25% of the screen. Still crystal clear, just a "Forever" shadow. Thanks for the time everyone.

It's usually more money to replace the screen than replace the entire set.

They sell replacement boards and are very helpful. Maybe the problem is the back light rather than the LCD panel. That might be an more practical repair.
