You went to Storage in the Settings and in Internal Storage you have nothing there? Or not much used at least? Or are you talking about space on the SD card? Did you try simply rebooting the phone?

Can you post a screen capture of the storage options and also expanded by what is using the storage? Make sure nothing personal is shown like your phone or real name.

Upload to a image sharing site or google drive with full access for the image, click the insert Picture shortcut in the post formatting or hit Ctr P and link it.

Did you use any programs to set files as hidden? If you don't care much about re-installing programs and have your files on the SD card or cloud storage you can do a factory reset of the thing and start clean. I'd remove the SD card from the phone before doing that.
