samsung galaxy s 2 wont turn on

my phone was on this morning, i checked it 2 hours later and the screen was black. it wont turn on and the charging symbol doesnt even come on when i try to charge it. what do i do?

I overcharged the battery, got a new battery and it works

Take the battery out ,clean the contacts with a pencil eraser and reinstall.
Mine does this occasionally.
