Samsung Galaxy SIII for Straight Talk

Straight Talk has a CDMA option available, with the byop activation but for some reason I couldn't get it to work. I got my mom a free Verizon Samsung Galaxy and converted it to the GSM network and it works on the att network with her SIM card. But Verizon actually picks up better in her area. Since the Galaxy is CDMA and GSM capable, how do I convert it to the CDMA option?? Any helpful advice!

You have to call up straight talk, for me I had the Verizon Galaxy S III but i had to get an AT&T Galaxy S III to work in this area, they told me that Verizon Galaxy S III will not work for anyone in straight talk.
