For me the lack of bezel was what stopped me from upgrading to Watch 7 last Black Friday. If Watch 8 keeps removing the bezel I'll start looking for a different option. I've had always Samsung Gear/Watch since the Gear S2, but the bezel was a distinctive and powerful feature that, when removed, reduces the competitiveness of Samsung watches compared to other options in the market.

In sorry I switched from Apple to Samsung a year ago because I was annoyed paying the fees for every app but literally my Samsung Galaxy watch ultra is complete garbage it does 1/16 the things my apple watch did. Im a coder for both android and apple interface(obviously not important enough for either to get special benefits lol) but the watch isn't market ready by any means its a rip-off the original Samsung Gear watch was better battery just sucked. I like my s24ultra but my watch is what I use most. I'm giving them one more model to step up or I have to go back back. I actually got a temu smart watch that ran circles around it. It was 50 bucks 🤬

I bought a 6 Classic for the rotating bezel and the fact that it DID NOT LOOK LIKE an Apple Watch. When I use my 6 for NFC or app payments, especially at Starbucks, I get sooooo many compliments like, "Wow! I've never seen a smart watch that actually looks like a watch..." "Is that the new smart Rolex (lol)?" "Idk that Apple made a watch watch..."

I also like it that when I go to a business meeting or fund raiser, that I don't look goofy with a square watch. I hope that Samsung brings a round Ultra 8 with a rotating bezel and all the features of the Ultra.
