Solved! Samsung HW-N850 & LG SK8000 TV Issue

OK i'm in need of some help. A couple of days ago i purchased a LG SK8000 TV and also the Samsung HW-N850 soundbar (because i wanted Dolby Atmos). I tried connecting HDMI cable from TV to sound bar using both of the ARC hdmi ports. I then connected my Apple 4K TV directly into the soundbar. My TV cable (DirecTV) worked but i could not get the Apple TV to work. I eventually had to connect the Apple TV directly to the TV which works but i'm not getting Dolby Atmos now. Please help!!! Am i missing something in the settings maybe??

Are you sure you selected the HDMI input of the soundbar as your source with the soundbar remote. It would be a different input than selecting HDMI-ARC.
