samsung led smart tv screen went black

I bought this tv only one month ago

I connected HDMI to the laptop to watch a movie, but at some point I stopped the movie on my laptop and went out for one hour and came back home.
My laptop was automatically off because I stopped using it for one hour. Usually when I turn on the laptop again, the tv screen was automatically on.
but this time the screen went black completely and no sound. (I connected it to cable box but no use)

So my question is... Is it dangerous usually to leave the tv connected to the laptop for awhile if the tv suddenlt stops receiving any signal from the tv??

I doubt that leaving them connected, and your laptop turning off would cause this to happen.

Sounds like a power supply problem if the screen is black AND there is no sound.
